Dr. Vinod M Lakhwani has 15 years of academic experience. Prior joining to School of Business, Auro University - Surat, he was associated with ICFAI Business School (IBS) Ahmedabad for seven years. His major areas of interest are Accounts and Finance. He has done his doctoral research and published several papers in field of Mergers and Acquisitions. He has also presented his cases as well as research papers in National as well as International Conferences and won Best Case Study Awards and Best Paper Awards for same. He has guided students as well in developing cases and these cases have been presented at several International Conferences which are featured in national journals and case books and are listed on the case center (formerly known as ecch). He has also chaired sessions in numerous National and International Conferences. He is on the Advisory Board of the “BSSS Journal of Management” of The Bhopal School of Social Sciences, Bhopal and “Horizon” – A bi annual journal for the students by AISECT University, Bhopal. He is recipient of “Best Teacher Award for Institutional Building” for year 2016 instituted by IBSAF. He has been also awarded as “Best SIP Mentor” by IBS Bangalore in September 2013.
