About

Manoj Chhaya has been in the field of higher education since 2005, teaching English and allied subjects to UG and PG students. He has worked at various capacities, including that of the principal of a state govt. college. He is a teacher educator too. His areas of interest include language and communication, literature and literary theory, translation studies, diasporic writings and popular science and technology. He has published translations including a biography, poetry, short stories and monographs. His latest translations are published with Sahitya Akademi (New Delhi) and Gujarat Sahitya Academy (Gandhinagar). He has been a member of the authorial team for Guj. State Textbook Board (Std.10, FL English). He has also been the member of BoS (English) for GTU and Kachchh University. He has served as a member of the senate at Kachchh University. He is a Fulbright Fellow and UPenn (USA) alumnus, and the recipient of the Most Involved Resident Award from IHP (Philadelphia).
